I've known alot of mechanics around the Hopatcong area, and by far John Sanchez is most honest and reasonable with his prices, and his quality of work. I would highly recommend going here!"

"i was pleasantly surprised by the level of service that i received by john Sanchez the owner of advanced car care.. I live quite a distance from this repair shop and my 2007 jeep grand cherokee was towed there as it was the closest repair facility that could handle such repairs while travelling in the Hopatcong area Saturday September 9th.. Suddenly without warning my normally trustworthy Jeep started grinding and crunching its gears from within the 4wd differential..I never experienced such a problem so i pulled off the road right by Maxim Dr in Hopatcong... I was all set to enjoy a beautiful Saturday afternoon but suddenly i was faced with an urgent debilitating problem with my main vehicle... So not being familiar with the area , i reached out to the closest repair facility that was equipped to deal with such an issue... Upon callling John who was extremely sympathetic to my plight he promptly dispatched a flat bed wrecker to pick up my almost undriveable vehicle upon arrival the very knowledgeable driver loaded my jeep upon the very professional looking flatbed truck and carted me as well as my Jeep down the road to
the advanced car care facility.. when we arrived john seemed to be waiting for me and took the Jeep promptly off the truck diagnosed the problem and went straight to work fixing the issue,,, now mind you I am completely at the whim of this gentleman and he could have stuck it up my ass so to speak...Buy at no time did I feel like I was getting that mechanic double talk... he spoke to me in laymens terms and explained that essentially the Jeep needed a new transmission.. it turns out that i had inadvertently been driving it for some time in 4wd high unbeknownst be me... now anyone that knows how smooth the newer grand cherokees are can understand how i made such an error... it turns out that 4wd high should only be engaged when snow ,mud, or sand is present and the top speed should not exceed 54mph.... well i had obviously gone well beyond those parameters for a prolonged period of time causing ultimately transmission overheating and obviously complete failure... ok so now i need a new transmission on a Saturday morning and no time to waste , so naturally there is no place with that part in stock on a Saturday morning ... but as luck would have it John Sanchez happened to have a 2007 jeep grand cherokee parts vehicle just laying around.. what are the chances? so he made no hesitation about pulling a perfectly good transmission from this very nice grand cherokee like a surgeon he precisely removed all the nuts and bolts and gears from this truck and made it look like childs play as he basically transferred this very vital component from one truck to the other.. he did this work single handedly in about 2and a half hours (unbelievable) quite frankly!! this was a massive undertaking and this superman of a mechanic managed to eat a burger during this whole procedure.. any way when he was done i was sure my butt would be hurting so I braced for impact ... The bill came to including a 6 mile tow and the swapping of transmissions on a Saturday morning $1510.64 !!! this was a $4000 job all day long and twice on sunday... my man John Sanchez is the man !!! not only did he not take advantage of me on a beautiful Saturday afternoon but he got me up and running within 3 hrs at a very respectable fair and honest rate of repair... i would tell anyone to visit advanced car care in Hopatcong for fast honest friendly and reliable service to their automobile"

"Extremely knowledgable. Extremely resposnive. Needed a tow on a Sat. Afternoon in Aug. Advanced was there in a half hour. Excellent service. Reasonably priced. I highly recommend Advanced Car Care to anyone looking for a mechanic you can trust."
